Role Overview:
We are looking for a skilled WordPress Developer with a strong understanding of WooCommerce to spearhead the development of responsive and performant websites using WordPress. The ideal candidate will have experience in setting up various plugins and configurations, hosting on different providers, and seamlessly migrating local changes to live environments. Additionally, they should possess a deep understanding of WordPress theme anatomy, custom theme development, and the ability to integrate raw jQuery and custom PHP code as required.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain responsive, high-performing websites using WordPress and WooCommerce.
- Set up and configure various WordPress plugins to enhance website functionality.
- Host websites on different providers and manage server configurations as needed.
- Seamlessly migrate local changes to live environments while ensuring minimal downtime.
- Create custom WordPress themes tailored to client specifications.
- Integrate raw jQuery and custom PHP code to meet project requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional web solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress and WooCommerce trends, tools, and technologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with expertise in WooCommerce.
- Strong knowledge of PHP and MySQL
- Familiarity with Git, Jira, or similar version control and project management tools.
- Solid understanding of WordPress theme anatomy and custom theme development.
- Ability to build responsive and performant websites that adhere to best practices.
